We have been a part of the Grappenhall and Thelwall community since 1947 and members of the club have access to a full and varied entertainments programme as well as a number of sports activities.

We have been a part of the Grappenhall and Thelwall community since 1947 and members of the club have access to a full and varied entertainments programme as well as a number of sports activities.
The club bar offers members and their families and friend’s attractive prices on all of our drinks including beer, lager, cider, wine, spirits, including a wide range of gins and soft drinks. The club is equipped with a comfortable lounge with TV’s (SKY, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime) snooker and darts facilities and an outside play area. Regular social events, a darts section, live music, an annual Remembrance Sunday and many other festivities fill the calendar. You may also request bookings for christenings, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, wakes, meetings and events.
We have recently improved our outdoor facilities by adding an excellent play area & Beer Garden where parents, members and guests can enjoy a quality drink whilst keeping an eye on their children.

We offer a range of traditional pub sports, including snooker and pool tables, line dancing every Thursday, several dart boards and there is weekly Bingo on a Tuesday(non-members welcome).

Representing the Legion
Our members have a strong ceremonial tradition dating back to 1921. We're proud to have members represent the Legion across the UK, during Remembrance services and beyond.

The Royal British Legion provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependants. The Legion was founded in 1921, at the Queen’s Hall, London, to give practical help and companionship to ex-servicemen of the First World War.

As a voice for the ex-Service community and over 450,000 members continue to ensure that this voice does not go unheard. Although the needs of ex-Service people have changed over the years, we are still there to safeguard their welfare, interests and memories. British service people are in action around the world every day of the year. They know that if they need our support – now or in the future – the Legion is always on active duty for them.
